![]() Often these small overheard conversations are the funniest part of the game.Ĭoon and Friends assemble. Red Lego bricks are "lava" in the game, and at one point early on you hear Cartman's mom calling the police about lava being in front of her door making it impossible to leave. ![]() Humor is.uh.funny like that.Īll that being said, there are still many funny moments. Of course, it could also be me. Maybe if I played the first game again I'd realize this one is funnier and I'm just not in as much of a South Park mood. The rest of the game just feels a little less laugh-out-loud funny, though that could change-I'm only about halfway through at this point. In other words, the meta humor is as on-point as you'd expect. This won't affect combat, just "every other aspect of your life." You have four shades of white and then black to choose from (hard mode.) "Don't worry," Cartman's voice assures you. The difficulty slider at the beginning of the game is entirely race-based. (Perhaps a not-so-subtle jibe at recent events in the gaming circus.) One load screen tells you to be sure to 'read the tips during the load screen.' The next one says that if you're having trouble beating enemies, you should get better at the game. A lot of its humor (even in load screens) is directed at gamers and gaming. ![]() While I think that The Stick of Truth is funnier on the whole than The Fractured But Whole, the latter feels more at home as a video game. That pretty much goes for the humor as well. ![]() South Park: The Fractured But Whole Credit: Ubisoft
